Your Gift Pack start with Clyde Seely’s (Three Bear’s Owner) newly released autobiography.
Three Bear Lodge was built in 1932. Clyde worked as a laundry boy at Three Bear in his teens and upon purchasing the Lodge became an early pioneer in providing winter in Yellowstone snowmobile tours. It was such an unique, exciting and new opportunity that KSL covered the story in 1971.
He and his wife Linda have owned the lodge for more than 45 years. Their incredible story includes a great trail of challenges and successes of this loved gateway town and winter use in Yellowstone Park. “Opportunity Knocked” is more than a book of captivating stories. It is a great history of the hurdles and accomplishments that have happened in West Yellowstone and winter use in Yellowstone covering nearly a century.
